Folding Project Posting

When you complete your folded design, post info and images about it on your blog.

• Post three images describing it visually ( detail photos as well as overview shots).

• Explain what your theme was....

• Explain how your design RESPONDS to the folded structure, either enhancing it, or hiding it.

• Also post a title for your work...

for example:

This is "Shadid". 

I  chose to work with the theme of a reporter killed while working on a story about Syria. 
The structure uses images of Shadid's face with scenes of street fighting. 
The colors are greens and reds- complements to create a more violent emotional effect.
I used the filters: "posterize" and "mezotint" to build visual texture.

I left  Shadid's eye visible as a "clue" that his image hiding in the chaos of textures and patterns.

The shifting colors (from red to greens) adds to, or enhances the folded structure by changing (dramatically) along the fold lines.
