The program is focused on
building confidence and connections through experience. We engage in a
variety of experiences so that the members are able to be exposed to new

we have a community service goal as well. we address issues that are
facing young women and simply provide a safe and comfortable place for

Mess With The Web, project
Here is a quick project to challenge you to be creative and take risks with your work....
Create several images to be displayed on you blog- not to be printed..
Make your design respond to these attributes of the web and blogs:
1. SCROLLING- your work should use the scrolling as an important part of the layout of your image.
2. PIXELS- manipulate the idea that your work is displayed by a collection of DOTS and marks..... what if you enlarged those pixels?
3. CLARITY against things that are HIDDEN... thin about how fog hides information..
4. CHANGE- make your design change as the viewer scrolls through to see it. How can the change help the message of the work come through?
SKILLS to use:
Work in Photoshop for the best results.... 72 dpi resolution
Work with the "Mosaic" filter to get a pixelated effect..

A Quick Design Challenge
Design a logo for the plastics team....
Here's the info for that:
Here's the info for that:
"Our company name is Jupiter Power and we were hoping the
logo could include a lightning bolt, the Jupiter planet symbol and our
company name. We wanted the lightning bolt to probably be yellow and
orange and then have a black background and white
letters and symbol. However, it is mainly up to you and your class.
Thank you so much
Matthew Rich"
